5 years warranty on the frame

The frame comprises of the internal wooden frame and seat springs against manufacturing defects or workmanship when put to ordinary residential use.

2 years warranty on recliners mechanism

The mechanism comprises of the seating recliner mechanism, headrest mechanism, sleeper mechanism and motion seating

mechanism when put to ordinary residential use.

2 years warranty on electrical components

This warrants electronic components in motion seating mechanism for 2 years when put to ordinary residential use.

2 years warranty on foams

Purchasers should expect foam and fiber fillings to compact over time. This is considered quite normal under ordinary residential use. This warranty covers seat, back and arm foams or fiber filling against loss of resiliency when put to ordinary use.

2 years warranty on leather

This warranty covers on leather against tearing, ripping or peeling. Warranty does not cover natural characteristic of marks, change in surface finishes, scars, tick bites, wrinkle occurring naturally in leather. Warranty does not covers improper use of unapproved cleaning chemical.

2 years warranty on fabric

The warranty covers the fabric against excessive fading (excluding fading from direct sunlight exposure), excessive pilling (unless pilling is natural characteristic of the fabric), tearing or ripping and yarn failure. Slight and gradual wear including “pilling” on fabric surface due to friction of normal use; stretching, wrinkling, color variation, natural fiber graining, yarn slubs, textural changes like velvet are not manufacturing defects.

General Conditions of Warranty

Hilker warrants the products sold by it to it’s resellers to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the warranty periods specified. During the applicable warranty period, Hilker as it sole obligation, will repair or replace (at its option) any product, part, or component covered by this warranty under normal residential use as a result of defect in material or workmanship.

This warranty extends only to the original purchasers who acquire new product from Hilker authorized resellers. Any product, part, or component must have been installed, used, and maintained according to Hilker published instructions in order to be eligible for coverage under this warranty and must not have been subject to misuse or abuse. Any modification to the original product voids the warranty. Hilker does not warrant the performance of the product when used in combination with other than original Hilker product.

These terms inclusively describe all of the warranties given and remedies available with respect to the company’s products and services. Hilker and its associates disclaim any other warranty whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise, in relation to the products.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase.

Hilker does not warrant: changes in surface finishes on leather due to aging or exposure to light, marks, scars, or wrinkles occurring naturally in leather.

In addition, Hilker does not warrant:

failure resulting from normal wear and tear. the matching of colours, grains, or textures of natural materials. or imprinting from writing instruments, or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. discoloration of leather due to soiling, stains, or dye transfer from clothing including denim. Damage from sharp objects.

Recliners only

Hilker recliner designed to suit a maximum user weight of 130 kgs – any weight in excess of 130 kgs will invalidate this warranty.

The warranty specifically covers furniture used in a residential situation. Any product found to be improper use or abuse will invalidate the warranty.

Hilker does not warrant products that are exposed to extreme environmental conditions or that have been subject to improper storage.

Hilker built-in footrests are designed to support only the user’s legs weight. Using the footrest in any manner other than that of its intended use will void this warranty.
